Thanks to the generous support of the Irish public during our Coronavirus Appeal, we have supported people to protect themselves from coronavirus in some of the most vulnerable parts of the world. Find out more about our response here.
Thanks to our appeal, thousands of schoolchildren at eight schools in northern Kenya were given reusable masks to make sure they studied safely. They also received information on how to keep safe from the virus.
Funds raised during our Coronavirus Appeal have helped to tackle misinformation and raise awareness of the virus across communities in the DRC via health workers and community leaders.
Funds raised during the appeal have supported hundreds of women struggling to survive during lockdown to pay for food or restart their businesses in southern Ethiopia.
Thanks to the appeal, we have been able to support hundreds of Rohingya families and locals to protect themselves from coronavirus in two refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
Thanks to our Coronavirus Appeal, we were able to ensure many children in Melut County, South Sudan, remained in education throughout lockdown and had a safe return to classrooms when schools reopened.

Thanks to the support of the Irish public, we helped over 4,000 children to keep safe from coronavirus in Minawo refugee camp and the local community in Northern Cameroon.
